Why
we need your financial help and support
The present running costs of Weldmar Hospicecare Trust are £4.6 million. We are very grateful for contributions towards these costs from our local PCT (30%) and other local organisations. However, this still leaves us over £2 million to raise every year and as a local charity we do rely heavily on the community for its continued support though our charity shops, donations, fundraising events and legacies to run our essential services.
Most of us know of close relatives and friends who need the
kind of care we offer and it is reassuring to know that these
services are available at no cost to the patients or their
family.
Other ways to help
Organising fundraising events for Weldmar Hospicecare Trust of all sizes can be fun and is very rewarding.
Our Trust Office can help you by providing practical information
on how to go about this or by producing posters, tickets etc.
Many individuals, clubs and organisations put on events for
us and have a great time whilst knowing that they are helping
a worthwhile local charity which cares for everyone who needs
the special care that it offers.
